Unsigned Japanese Wakizashi Short Sword

16 1/4 inch, single edged blade.  Shortened, unsigned tang.  Copper habaki with butterfly engraving.  Steel tsuba and chiselled sea with overlaid gilt birds.  Darkened steel fuchi and kabuto gane with gilt dragon and bird decoration.  White shagreen grip with black cord binding.  Contained in its lacquered and shell decorated scabbard. Complete with small kozuka knife with its signed blade.  Darkened copper grip with gilt dragon design.
