Mid 19th Century Percussion Pocket Pistol With Spring Bayonet

54 bore, 3 1/2 inch, turn off rifled muzzle barrel.  Muzzle with leaf engraving.  Lower fitted, triangular form, hollow ground, sprung bayonet operated by the trigger guard.  Flat side body with foliage scroll engraving and maker " D Thompson".  Central, dolphin head percussion hammer.  Steel trigger guard.  Polished wooden, flat side, bag shape grip with checkered backstrap.  White metal diamond escutcheon.
