9th Bn Norfolk Regiment Unique Name WW1 Memorial Plaque. Issued to commemorate EDWARD LEWIS FAWKES who paid the ultimate sacrifice for his country. GC. Private Edward Lewis Fawkes was a native of Pentney Norfolk. He was Killed in Action on the 15th September 1916 whilst serving on the Western Front with the 9th Bn Norfolk Regiment.
