Somerset Light Infantry Victorian Officer waist belt clasp c. 1881-1901. Scarce silvered and gilt interlocking example with matching numbers to both halves. Circlet inscribed THE PRINCE ALBERT'S; seeded centre mounted with silver bugle strung from JELLALABAD topped Mural crown, Sphinx on EGYPT plinth between the cords. Universal pattern rococo belt loops. (one a little bowed). Buckled, minor fracture to belt loop.
