9 3/4 inch, single edged blade with short fuller.  Forte marked "A.F.H." and US with flaming grenade.  Steel muzzle ring, crossguard, locking catch and bird beak pommel.  Black composite, grooved slab grips.  Green composite fibre scabbard with steel throat marked with US flaming grenade.
