Good scarce die-stamped brass crowned star bearing laurel sprays and mounted with detachable Garter; white metal Prince of Wales’s plumes to mirrored centre. Large white metal scroll ROYAL REGIMENT OF WALES across the base of the star. Three loops. VGC Regiment formed by the 1969 amalgamation of The South Wales Borderers and The Welch Regiment. Worn on blue cloth Home Service pattern helmet.
