1897 Pattern Infantry Officer's Sword

32 1/2 inch, dumb bell blade with central fuller.  Etched foliage scrolls and crowned GRV cypher.  Plated, foliage pierced guard with crowned GRV cypher.  Plated, checkered backstrap and plain pommel.  Shagreen covered grip with twist wire binding.  Contained in its leather covered field scabbard with brown leather sword knot.
