1815 French Napoleonic Battle of Waterloo Cuirassiers Sword
A scarce example with a 38 1/2 inch, single edged, straight blade with re-sharpened point. Large double fullers. Back edge with maker’s details dated 1815. Brass guard with triple bars terminating with flat balls. Brass pommel. Leather covered grip with twist wire binding. Contained in its steel scabbard with two loose hanging rings.
