Cape Peninsula Rifles South African badge c. 1904-14. Good scarce die-stamped white metal crowned Maltese cross, lions between the arms, bearing circlet title with Cape Arms to centre. Cross edges bearing NON NOBIS SED PATRIAE. Three loops. VGC Raised 1875. Honoured with Prince of Wales’s Own Royal prefix in 1904 for services in the Boer War.
