54th Foot (W.Norfolk) Regiment Indian Mutiny Medal. Transport Sarah Sands Survivor. Awarded to TIMy MYNEHAN 54TH REGT. Solder repair to claw, possibly reimpressed. Private Timothy Mynehan is confirmed as been with the 54th onboard the ill-fated Transport ship Sarah Sands, bound for India, when she caught fire. He had enlisted in 1847 and remained with the regiment until August 1868.
