14 1/2 inch, single edged blade widening towards the point. Wide fuller.  Forte with maker "Gottlieb Hammesfahr Solingen Foche".  Back edge dated 16.  Steel, turn up quillon.  Steel pommel.  Wooden ribbed slabbed grips. Contained in its steel scabbard with some pitting.
