(Early engraved naming with ghost dates), King's South Africa Medal clasps "South Africa 1901", "South Africa 1902", "17508 SUPT: CLERK E.J. HART RE", Army Long Service & Good Conduct Medal (VIC) "Q/MRS SGT E.J. HART RE" (Engraved naming). Medals loose original ribbons. Superintendent Clark Ernest James Hart a draughtsman by trade, enlisted in 1881. He served in South Africa from 1896 to 1902 and later in Egypt 1906 to 1907, discharged in 1907. Clasp entitlement is confirmed.
