14 1/2 inch, single edged blade widening towards the point. Wide fuller.  Rear sawback edge.  Forte with maker "Waffenfabrik Mauser AG. Oberndorf aH".  Back edge dated 17.  Steel turn up quillon.  Steel pommel.  Wooden ribbed slab grips.  Contained in its leather frog.  Minor stitching faults.
