Fine scarce die-stamped silvered crowned star bearing laurel sprays and strap 1ST ABERDEEN RIFLE VOLUNTEERS; St. Andrew and Cross to black velvet centre. Three loops. VGC HQ Aberdeen. Became 1st Volunteer Battalion The Gordon Highlanders in 1884.
