Scottish. London Scottish Victorian Officer’s 1886 Edinburgh hallmarked silver plaid brooch.

Fine example by R & HB Kirkwood, 66 & 68 Thistle St. Edinburgh made the year of its inception. Plain burnished silver quoit mounted with crown, thistle sprays bearing central Lion Rampant in relief and a lined scroll “THE LONDON SCOTTISH”. Stout pin to reverse. Slight service wear. GC
