34th (Cumberland) Regiment of Foot, Victorian glengarry badge c. 1874-1881. Good scarce die-stamped brass crowned Bath cross with central title and 34 set on laurel sprays. The arms of the cross emblazoned with battle honours. Brass loops East and West Minor service wear VGC "Arroyo dos Molinos" honour, unique to 34th, granted 30th May 1845. Became 1st Battalion Border Regt. on Friday 1st July 1881
