WW1 King's Own Scottish Borderers Officer's Group of Four Medals Awarded to Second Lieutenant Frederick William Hammond who served with the 2nd Battalion. Comprising: 1914/15 Star "2 LIEUT K.O.SCO BORD", British War Medal, Victory Medal, "2 LIEUT", Special Constabulary Medal (GVR), with clasp "Long Service 1941" and "Long Service 1945" (Loose), "FREDERICK W HAMMOND". The group is mounted as originally worn. Second Lieutenant Frederick William Hammond, on the 18th April 1915 he received a gunshot wound to the abdomen and left arm. He was awarded the Silver War Badge 1916 his address given as Stowmarket Suffolk
