WW2 Battle of Arnhem Period 1943 Airborne Forces steel helmet with leather harness. A scarce and very good example by Briggs Motor Bodies, Ltd (Dagenham), the shell is painted green with a net cover. Retaining orginal leather chin harness. The leather sweatband bears maker’s details of ‘B.M.B’ and 1943 date stamp, size 7 1/2. This helmet is in near unissued very good condition.
