12th Army bullion WW2 formation sign. Good gold wire Chinthern over XII embroidered on stiffened red/black/red felt square. Black cotton backing bearing safety pins. First formed in the Middle East, the 12th Army re-formed in Burma on 28th May 1945 and took part in the final operations to liberate Burma from the Japanese; disbanded 1st January 1946.
