1839 Pattern Percussion Sea Service Pistol

25 bore, 6 inch, smoothbore barrel.  Breech with various proof and Ordnance stamps.  Early pattern lock plate with stepped tang and line edge engraving.  Crowned VR cypher over "Tower 1844".  Percussion hammer with line edge engraving.  Polished, full stock woodwork.  The grip drilled for securing cord.  Brass butt cap with steel lanyard ring.  Brass trigger guard, ramrod pie and end cap.  Steel belt hook and lower swivel ramrod.
