Good scarce die-stamped blackened brass crowned Maltese cross, lions between the arms, bearing circlet inscribed LONDON IRISH RIFLE VOLS.; crowned Harp to voided centre. Three loops to reverse. Three loops. Minor service wear to blackened finish otherwise VGC. Formed 28.2.1860 as 28th Middlesex RV, renumber 16th 1880.
