German Third Reich NSDAP Leader Ortsgruppenleiter' peaked cap. A good example of tan woollen cloth with light blue piping to the welt of the crown and either side of the cap band. To the front, gilt washed political eagle and swastika; below, an enamel cockade with central black enamel swastika all set in large gilt metal oakleaf wreath. Celluloid cap cords supported by seeded gilt buttons. Brown pressed fibre peak, tan lining. Ersatz leather sweatband retains NSDAP RZM fibre label. A little service wear, generally VGC.
