WW1 Lancashire Royal Garrison Artillery Mercantile Marine Group of Three Medals. Awarded to Stanley J Fearn, who served with the RGA, before being discharged with shell shock and then served with the Mercantile Marine.
Comprising: British War Medal 467 GNR S. FEARN RA, Mercantile Marine Medal STANLEY. J. FEARN, Victory Medal GNR RA. Stanley J Fearn volunteered for the Lancashire Heavy Battery of the Royal Garrison Artillery on the 15th April 1915. He embarked for France after the 1st January 1916 and was discharged with the award of the Silver War Badge on the 4th October 1916, suffering from Shell Shock. He then volunteered to serve with the Mercantile Marine Reserve as an Assistant Steward.
