Badge. 54th (West Norfolk) Regiment of Foot Victorian glengarry badge circa 1874-81. Good scarce die-stamped brass Sphinx on MARABOUT surmounting strap WEST NORFOLK REGIMENT; 54 to voided centre. Letter R of REGIMENT mis-stamped . (KK 513) Replacement loops. GC Became 2nd Bn Dorsetshire Regiment on 1.7.1881. "Marabout" granted in December 1841.
