Imperial German WW1 Saxon Infantry Officer's peaked cap or Schirmmutze. Fine scarce example with blue woollen body and crown, the latter piped in red; red cap band and pressed black fibre peak. The front retaining red, white and black cockade over another of silver, green, silver. White cotton lining and faux leather cream sweatband. VGC
