1856 Pattern Pioneer's Sword By Wilkinson

22 1/2 inch, single edged blade with back edge sharpened point.  Rear sawback edge.  Forte with maker "Wilkinson London" dated 8/94 and various Ordnance stamps.  Brass stirrup knuckle bow and downswept quillon dated 4/96.  Ribbed brass slab grips secured by four steel rivets.  Contained in its leather scabbard with brass chape and throat.
