Rife Brigade Edwardian / George V Officer Astrakhan Cap. A superb example of black astrakhan wool, with green cloth top with ornate figure in black Russia braid. Black cord lines forming a plaited festoon at the front. Black corded boss bearing King crown above a bugle-horn. The interior with leather sweatband dark cloth lining. A plume holder supports a black ostrich feathers and black vulture feather plume. Housed in original metal transit/storage tins for the cap and plume (hasp on one tin absent). VGC Near unworn condition.
