1897 Pattern Infantry Officer's Sword

33 inch, dumbell blade with central fuller.  Etched Kings crown GRV cypher, crowned coat of arms and foliage scroll panels.  Forte with faint maker's details. Nickel plated foliage pierced guard with Kings crown GRV cypher.  Nickel plated, checkered backstrap.  Shagreen covered grip with twist wire binding.  Contained in its brown leather field scabbard.  Some loss of plating.
